Ten of Swords

A battle has been lost and you are feeling defeated. Plans have not worked out the way you anticipated or desired. You may be feeling your worst as if you have bottomed out, but do not despair. These problems are not as bad as they seem. It is your overreaction to the problems that feels so bad, rather than the actual problems themselves. Once you understand that your feelings are just a reaction, you’ll understand that your power and control still remains intact. Emotionally detaching yourself from the outcome will allow you to remain positive and eliminate feelings of defeat should defeat occur. Once you let go, acceptance makes space for the peace that is to follow.
